Tip of the Week
The SBA Lending "community" - it's REAL
Because of innovative technology, these days we are surrounded by "opportunities" to connect with whom we want, when we want, how we want on just about any platform (personal and business) through outreach vehicles provided by the NET. MySpace, Facebook, Twitter, MyLife...You know what they are because now such types of connection are not just a "young person's" thing.
Now when you wonder how to do something, how to find someone or how to get somewhere, we have Google and MapQuest. As soon as we get used to one mode of communication, it seems to become obsolete and replaced by some new way of doing things...we are starting to rethink whether or not the FAX machine is even needed anymore (we scan and email documents more often than not).
It's a changing world, moving faster all the time, but rather than resist it, we should embrace it. Sure, step back from the rat race from time to time ("stop the world, I want to get off!")...hopefully, many of you are on vacation (or about to go) as this email drops into your Outlook or Web Mail site. However, embrace those tools available to you to connect (or call it networking) to those who can make a difference in your day (your life, your business, your goals). Perhaps, you can be the one that makes a difference for someone else.
When we see we have made a difference in a client's world, whether it be at the completion of a short end project that has met their expectations or whether it is just a short phone call that answered that question to help them progress to the next step...a feeling of "community" is a reward in itself. We are not alone!
We not only assist our clients, but they provide us with great insight and "real world" experiences that we can then take with us into the next project or business relationship. Thoughts and questions continue to swirl in our SBA lending community (it's the nature of the beast), so we at sbaAccess continue to develop resources that make sense for our clients. To this end, we have developed a "private" area (clients only) called Special Access. We will continue to build on this concept, but with our initial release, subscribers will get access to:
-
A wide array of job aides, templates, guidelines, resources
-
Assisting on all sides of the business (origination, closing/funding, servicing, liquidation, guaranty purchase)
-
We will add to the inventory regularly (as often as daily, weekly) - the value will continue to grow
-
Technical assistance is our forte' - and we continue to listen to what lenders need (give us YOUR wish list....we will address it)
-
Continual touch points that we call "Key Thoughts" to be posted almost daily. If we have a thought or an experience or an exchange that would be helpful to others, we will share it.
-
Networking Forum (a blog area) where we will prompt discussion between our client community.

What is the best value you receive when you go to conferences, training courses, lender events? It is communing with your counterparts (peers) to compare notes, share information, or just make a connection. Now that opportunity comes in a "virtual" form.
For existing clients of sbaAccess, this service is complimentary. You are considered a client if you have done business with us in the current calendar year.
Not a client yet? No problem, we can either connect you to our Lifeline service or provide project based consulting and you are automatically given "Special Access". We waive the Special Access annual subscription for Lifeline and project clients of sbaAccess (Lifeline clients must remain active to receive Special Access - meaning if no activity has been made after two consecutive months, access will expire).
OR, gain access with a $395 annual subscription (same price regardless of lender type).
Currently we are only accepting subscription payments via invoice. It will take up to 2 business days for us to verify your information before you will be able to login to Special Access.
We are in the process of implementing an instant, online payment system for payment with Visa/Master Card/Discover. We expect this option to come available mid-July.
Sign up for Special Access today and start using it when you get back from Independence Day celebrations....check it out.

If you are a client....we will be sending you a password by email in the next few days!
